Получил больше информации от Роксаны на счёт компонента EE Mod Fixpack
, который надо устанавливать как на BG1EE так и на BG2EE перед установкой ЕЕТ, касаемо "ручной" сборки. Не всё просто, оказывается, при мануальной установке, как, если использовать EE Mod Setup Tool
EE-Mod-Fixpack is maintained and up to date. It includes fixes for mods that are not properly maintained or not maintained at all (or maintained by people with insufficient EE knowledge). I recommend it, this is why it exists.
My hope for fixpack is that updates consist mainly in removing things that are no longer needed because some mods pick these things up, even if sometimes it takes years. There are not too many updates recently. I do not publish them, it always only needs to useless discussions about "this is not the original mod...", so what, if the original has bugs...
It is not designed to use it manually. This is why I did not publish it but only use it in the Install Tool. Some files can just be copied over after mod extraction, for others you need to look inside the files and repair them yourself if you do manual installations.
This is why I use and maintain the tool. Doing a large EET installation without knowing all the operations required to make it work (including the patching of files) is a nightmare and every mistake you make may pop up later in game.
My knowledge about how to do things is put into the Install Tool. It is enough work to maintain it and I have long discarded the idea of explaining it all in an installation manual (I considered this a few years back). I see no need to do work twice and then maintain two different installation methods.
Yes, I know, this is not helpful. But even for my own testing of mods I do NOT use manual installation anymore. I rather do an EET installation and then work on the back end of the weidu.log by manually adding/removing stuff I need to test (taking into account EET_end or worldmap mod, if they are affected).
Just for information, the Install Tool does not provide own translations or such. It takes what is inside the mods. There are many mods that used to have Russian translations for the old game. They may be still in the mod files but not usable. If there is one that works but is not listed in the install tool, this would be an error. But you know best that some things, especially translations, have not been well maintained during the updates. Many translations are commented out in tp2 files.
Получается, полностью этот компонент "в ручную" не удастся установить (и без ошибок), но хотя бы есть возможность "пропатчить" некоторые моды через ApplyPatches.tp2 с помощью weidu. Сам EE Mod Fixpack
